The Birmingham-Bloomfield Newcomers Club (BBNC) is a non-profit group consisting of over 270 women of all ages, from all over the world. We are expatriates from North America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean and South America. Some of us are also Americans who have recently relocated to the area or simply enjoy making new friends from other countries. Contrary to what our name suggests, our members do not have to live in Birmingham or Bloomfield only. Many of us live in Rochester, Novi, Southfield, Clawson or in any other suburb of Detroit. If you can drive to the Birmingham area, where we are based, then you can become a member!

Through BBNC, members choose activities and events that fit their own individual interests. Over coffee or card games, through sports or community service projects, we get acquainted or catch up with old friends. We teach each other new languages, customs and cuisine. We inspire each other. More often than not, cross-cultural, lifelong friendships take root. The best way to get started is to come to a Welcome Coffee, normally held on the first Monday of the month.
